Recreational Sports Park Development
Project Overview
The Alleghany Park Development Project was designed to add two soccer fields, two lacrosse/hockey pitches, two t-ball/small baseball fields, and a fitness challenge course. Additionally, there is a tot play area, a 1.4-mile interpretive nature/fitness trail that connects with the existing trail, picnic overlook shelters along the trail, restrooms, and additional parking. The initial two phases of Alleghany Park development were funded through OSLAD grants.

Project Scope
The project consisted of extensive earthwork, installation of concrete curb, asphalt roadway and parking, asphalt paths, court color coating, concrete flatwork, brick paving, restroom building, garage, shelters, fencing, backstop netting, playground, well drilling, fishing pier, site and field lighting, pond aerators, site furnishings, landscaping, sodding, and restoration.
