Waukegan National Airport US Customs & Border Protection General Aviation Facility

Construction of a new 3,140 sf U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility. The building is classified as an A-3 Airport Terminal. Its construction class is type IIB Metal Frame structure with an interior high security system for U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. This project also included all necessary site utility hook-ups, asphalt paving, and fencing. This project was constructed at the active airport right next to the existing U.S. Customs Building, which remained open during construction.
