Project Location
Berkley, IL
Project Scope
The New Media Center library design features ceiling clouds that not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also provides improved acoustics for a conducive learning environment. New and vibrant wall colors breathe life into the space, making it an inviting and inspiring place for young readers.
The project presented some unique challenges including an extremely tight schedule, as time was of the essence to ensure the library’s availability for the upcoming academic year. New structural elements required fast-tracking related to fabrication and installation. Despite these obstacles, Boller Construction persevered and delivered a remarkable Media Center Library for both schools that has garnered praise from students and staff alike. Additional features at each school include: Central hub open round reading and presentation area, new furniture, lighting, flooring and carpeting.
